Privacy Policy
How information relates to your visits, conversations, and choices on Joyzarea.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with joyzarea.com and the Joyzarea features you use. References to “Joyzarea,” “we,” and “our” mean the service provided through this website. Our Terms of Use set out the rules for participation.
The information involved depends on your choices: browsing a page, joining a conversation, creating an optional account, purchasing a feature, or contacting Support. This policy applies to Joyzarea; an independent website you visit through an external link has its own privacy terms.
2. Information connected with your use
Information associated with the service falls into the following categories, where relevant to the feature you use:
- Technical information: the network address and browser information sent with a website request, requested resources, and error information used to deliver and troubleshoot the service.
- Account information: details you provide when creating or managing an optional account, together with your selected preferences.
- Communication content: the picture and sound you choose to transmit during a call and messages you submit through an available messaging feature.
- Purchase information: the coin pack or feature selected, transaction reference, amount, currency, payment result, and information you provide about a billing problem.
- Support information: the content of an enquiry or report and the details you supply to help identify the relevant incident.
Only provide information relevant to your request. Do not include another person's private information unnecessarily, and never send passwords or complete payment-card details in a report.
3. Camera access and conversations
When you allow camera and microphone access and join a call, the other participant receives the content you transmit. You control what is visible around you and can end the call or revoke browser permissions at any time. Revoking permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
One-to-one communication is not a guarantee that the recipient will keep it confidential. Another participant could capture or repeat what you share using tools outside Joyzarea. Avoid showing identifying documents, your home address, or anyone who has not agreed to appear.
If you report an incident, any material you include becomes part of that report. Leaving a call does not automatically withdraw information already submitted to Support.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information relevant to your selected features to deliver those features, administer accounts and purchases, answer enquiries, investigate reported misuse, and resolve technical problems. Processing for compliance with legal duties or the handling of a legal claim is limited to the information relevant to that purpose.
Where a legal basis is required, fulfilling a requested service or purchase relies on contractual necessity; mandatory recordkeeping relies on the applicable legal duty. Security and abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests, subject to the required assessment of your rights. Optional processing that requires consent must rely on that consent rather than on your merely visiting the website.
You may withdraw consent for future processing. This does not make earlier processing unlawful or prevent processing supported by another applicable legal ground.
5. Cookies and external resources
Your browser can store small pieces of information through cookies or local storage. Where a feature uses these technologies, their role can include maintaining a session or remembering a preference. You can inspect, remove, or block stored site data in your browser settings. Removing session data may sign you out or reset a preference.
Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent storage remains until its configured expiry or until it is removed. Browser storage controls show the data available on your device; they do not delete information associated with an account on a server.
Joyzarea's pages request the Manrope font from Google Fonts. This causes your browser to communicate with Google's infrastructure. External resources are also subject to the relevant provider's privacy information.
Where optional tracking requires consent, that consent must be obtained before the tracking starts. This policy does not itself provide consent to advertising, profiling, or non-essential cookies.
6. Recipients and processing locations
Your conversation partner receives the content you choose to transmit. Information necessary to deliver a requested feature may also be handled by providers involved in hosting, communication infrastructure, payment processing, or support. The payment option presented at checkout identifies the provider handling that payment.
Information may be disclosed when required by a lawful request or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect someone's safety, or establish or defend legal rights. Any disclosure must have an applicable legal basis and be limited to its purpose.
A worldwide conversation can involve a recipient outside your country. Where processing involves an international transfer subject to data protection restrictions, the transfer must meet those requirements, including an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards where required. Information about arrangements relevant to your request can be requested through Support.
7. Storage and protection
Information is retained according to the purpose for which it is needed. Relevant criteria include whether an account remains active, whether a purchase or support issue is unresolved, whether an access restriction remains in effect, and whether a statutory recordkeeping period or legal claim requires continued retention.
A deletion request is assessed against these purposes and applicable legal requirements. Information still needed for a lawful purpose may be retained for that purpose; it is not automatically available for unrelated use. Ending a conversation, clearing browser storage, and requesting account deletion are different actions.
Information handling requires safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved. No online system can offer an absolute security guarantee. Protect your device and account credentials, and raise a suspected security incident with Support without including sensitive credentials.
8. Your requests and choices
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be entitled to access or correct personal information, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Where applicable, rights also include objections to direct marketing and choices concerning the sale or sharing of personal information. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the relevant law.
Contact Support through the help or account options provided by the service. State that your enquiry concerns privacy, identify the account or interaction involved, and explain the action you request. For account removal, use the subject “Account deletion.” Only information reasonably necessary to verify and resolve your request should be supplied.
Requests are handled within the time limits that apply under law. You may also raise a complaint with the competent data protection authority. You do not need to wait for an account request to change your browser's camera, microphone, or storage permissions.
9. Adults only and policy updates
Joyzarea is for people aged 18 or older and is not directed at children. A person under 18 must not create an account or participate in a call. If you suspect a minor has supplied information or is using the service, report the concern through the available safety or support options. Do not redistribute sensitive material as part of raising that concern.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in features or applicable requirements. The revision date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where required, and any new processing that requires consent remains subject to that requirement.
Read our Terms of Use.
